So Cousin Buddy and I curled up on the couch yesterday and watched cartoons all day!

During some commercials Buddy made breakfast.

Have you ever had pan fried skittles?

So Ohiophotogrl and I where wondering around a local hospital when we kept hearing a pst sound. We looked around and looked around but we didn’t see anything. When we left the hospital it became clear that an Elf had been trying to get our attention. Meet Cousin Buddy!

He’s gonna hang out with us for a the rest of the month so stay tuned to see what we will get into :0)

Small Business Saturday

Yesterday I had the opportunity to run around with Ohiophotogrl will she did a scavenger hunt thru some of our local business for Small Business Saturday . It was really fun. We started off at The Coffee Hub to get fueled up and get our clues for what we needed to find.

The Coffee Hub has these really cool cookie and Ohiophotogrl girl told me that her extra Carmel Latte was the best she ever had! Then we were off!

We then went to Barney’s True Hardware, and found a few really cool ideas for Christmas presents as has to count the isles! Then over to Puzzles Plus.

We had to count the puzzles on the walls. We kept getting a different number. This one was a tough one but we think we got it right (wink, wink.) The next stop was Once Upon A Thyme Bookstore. It was a really fun place. We had to find the featured cookbook recipe.

It might be on the menu for next week :0) after there we hopped in the car and went to Central Carpet and Interiors. They had a scavenger hunt inside their store as well. They did the 12 days of Christmas theme. It was really fun walking thru the store and seeing all the really interesting decor and flooring stuff they have to offer their. They even have a family of beavers living there.

Next stop was Decoy Arts! Here we had to find the name of the biggest rooms! They have lots of ceramic things to paint and offer lots of classes to do different art things for all ages.

From there we went to Cape House Collectables! They store was full of the holiday spirit. This is me with their Christmas truck!

Then over to Knollwood Garden Center where we had some hot chocolate and enjoyed walking around and seeing all the neat things you can put on your Christmas tree and decorate your home this year.Ohiophotogrl loves this sign :0) then it was over to La Crique Boutique. This was a new store for us. They had clothing and accessories for every occasion. They two had a great truck for me to ride in!Next stop was a local favorite, The Pizza Dive!

Here we got cinnamon Sugar bites and all we had to do was hear a funny joke. The last stop on our adventure was This Old Couch. This is where we turned in our scant hunt paper. They had this really cool tray.

We had so much fun meeting the owners/staff of all these businesses. Can’t wait to do it again next year!

Wonder what where gonna do next?

Do you plant a garden?

The last few years Ohiophotogrl and I have planted a garden and this year is no different. We have tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, herbs and soon to have carrots, beets and radishes. I love taking photos of the garden as it grows.

Here is a sneak peek at the growth so far:

We will keep ya posted on how the garden grows! Do you have a garden? What are you growing?

Gardening

Spent yesterday morning and early afternoon looking for plants for the garden.

There are a lot to choose from. Let’s just say we picked up flowers for the front flower pots and some tomatoes for the pots on the porch. Not to mention some herbs. Last week we got some cucumbers and a few other things. I’ll have to make a full list.

Now I just need this weather to Cooperate! Are you planting a garden? What are you gonna put in yours?

Graduation time!

Ohiophotogrl has had two a niece and a nephew graduate this year. Tonight we went and saw the nieces portfolio review. Here is a photo of the crowd and the set up.

The review was at the Dayton Art Institute in Dayton Ohio. The niece is graduating with lots of honors….

After we walked around we and saw some amazing graphic artists work we had a snack.

MMMMMM I might have had one of these fruit cups. But after that we went back and told Rachael goodbye and headed out to have a nose dinner….SUSHI

As you can tell I ate it all gone :0)

That was a trip!

As some of you saw in Facebook, I took a trip with Ohiophotogrl! We drove over to Missouri to see her cousin graduating from high school.

We started off all bucked in…

And I got to read the map along the way! We got out a few times to stretch our legs and we took a selfie.

I got to see the Arch in St Louis but only thru the car window…

Ohiophotogrl was driving so I took a better photo on the way back….

It was a really fun trip, but we are both glad to be home and to sleep in our own beds last night!

Road Trip

Stopped at AAA this morning and filled the tires full of air and got a TripTik for my next adventure. Ohiophotogrl likes to use her GPS but I think it’s important to have a map just incase!

The staff at our local AAA store was very helpfully. Gave me a book on what to do along the way if I wanted to and some big maps of each state!

Where am I going? Guess you’ll have to stay tuned to find out!

It’s been 7 years

Today is my “Gotcha Day.” It’s the Day that Ohiophotogrl and I became best friends. She found me coming out of the ground. Here is a recap of that…

It was love at first site!

Thanks for being on this journey with us….rumor on the street we have a big adventure coming up….stay tuned!

Tag along

Sometimes when Ohiophotogrl goes to work I like to ride along. It takes me to places I haven’t been before. On Saturday she had a photo shoot so I tagged along.

It was fun to watch her take senior photos of our new friend Missy.

Congratulations Missy and the many other class of 2019 students!
