Ohiophotogrl and I took a walk around the yard today to smell the roses.
There are 4 different color ones out here and they smell fabulous :0)
The Iris are looking fine too!

Tonight we had to stop and get TP and water at the store.
When Ohiophotogrl went to put the cart away I found the horn in the truck.
All Ohiophotogrl could do was shake her head. Good times!

May 24, 2013 Woodman Fen
This morning ohiophotogrl and I took a walk through the Woodman Fen.
You could hear all kinds of birds and frogs this morning. But it was a little chilly. Ohiophotogrl even put on a jacket. We sat out there for a little while and just enjoyed nature.
It was a really great morning just us and nature.

The Woodman Fen is located at 4820 Amesborough Road in Dayton. To get there, take Woodman Drive to Woodbine Avenue, turning west onto Woodbine. Then turn south onto Russet Avenue and east on Deborah Avenue. Finally, turn south on to Amesborough Road and continue until it dead ends into Newcastle Drive. There is a little parking lot, but on-street parking is available. The entrance is at the north end of Newcastle Drive.

May 23, 2013 strawberries and saving lives
The morning started out with a trip to Dayton’s Community Blood Center!
They have a parrot theme going on and these birds are big! We didn’t just try to give blood we DID, saving three lives today!
Then Ohiophotogrl and I stopped by Pop Pops and saw the start of the strawberry jelly making.
The berries looked so good we had to try one.
I like strawberries!

OMG! I am a “Trekkie!” Ohiophotogrl took me to see the new Star Trek Into Darkness movie tonight. She says it is as good if not better then the first one.
The characters in this movie were cast to be just like the original characters which ohiophotogrl says makes it a five star movie. She says she’s a Spock fan so I can see new ears in my future lol
The movie is a must see! Thanks google for the screen shots.
Best part for me was the buttery popcorn :0)

I learned to change the light bulbs tonight
After that I cleaned up the garage a little bit and then learned how to close the garage door with the key pad.
Time to hit the shower and go to bed!

So today I walked around and collected keys. I found car keys, house keys, pad lock keys, Skelton keys, and a lot of keys I have no idea what they go to.
Ohiophotogrl has any idea what most of these keys go to. Oh well some of them look really cool!

May 19, 2013 my adoption day
Today I slept in. That doesn’t happen very often. Everyone was very tired today. I even got a nap with ohiophotogrl.
Then we headed out to a new Chinese restaurant. The General Tso’s chicken was fabulous. We will be having the Asian King again.
It was a great day. The best part was knowing that the last year I have been loved and respected for the great potato that I am!

Boy oh boy did I have a good time tonight at a place called World A Fair. I went down to the Dayton Convention center tonight and ate my way around the world.
I ran into good old Uncle Sam.
There were guys with bagpipes.
I met some new friends the “Vikings from Norway” they were a fun and happening bunch.
I met a “Leprechaun” tonight I found his pot of gold but I didn’t follow the rainbow so I had to give the gold back.
Then there was the Chinese Dragon.
I took a ride on “Nessy’s” back.
What a fun time we had. I even found this really cool necklace.
Now I’m ready for a good nights sleep. Sweet dreams my blog friends, sweet dreams.
