Spent yesterday morning and early afternoon looking for plants for the garden. 
There are a lot to choose from. Let’s just say we picked up flowers for the front flower pots and some tomatoes for the pots on the porch. Not to mention some herbs. Last week we got some cucumbers and a few other things. I’ll have to make a full list.
Now I just need this weather to Cooperate! Are you planting a garden? What are you gonna put in yours?

Here in the 937 we got hit with a few inches of snow last night
It was really bad this morning, but as you can see the roads are now clear. That little spot by my nose…..it’s a resident squirrel. He came down from his nest to get the corn I left him :0)
I am so ready for spring! I ordered some seeds for the garden and they came in the mail yesterday!
This isn’t everything I’m gonna plant but a variety of the things I want to grow. Do you have a Garden? What do you like to plant in your garden? Stay tuned as it gets closer to spring, we will be getting the garden ready and even planting some starters ahead of time! I love to garden! This year we ordered heirloom seeds from http://www.rareseeds.com no gmos. We will be sharing more about this as time goes on!

I don’t get much down time but when I do I like to hang out with Luna…
We like to lay in the sun. We talk about all the stuff that is growing in the garden. Luna would eat everything in the garden if I didn’t watch her. She loves a good salad :0)

See that green thing in my hand….it’s a baby cucumber! We are really growing stuff. I’m so excited. Ohiophotogrl says we still have a few weeks till it will be big enough to pick and eat. But it does show that our hard work is paying off! Do you have some veggies growing in your garden? Let’s see……

Ohiophotogrl and I have been busy putting the garden in. I had no idea how much work it really was. We had to go get seeds and plants and the. We had to put them in he beds and buckets. Thank heavens now all we gotta do is water them and wait for them to grow. Here is what it looks like…
That’s one of the beds. We have lots of things planted. Cucumbers, carrots, tomato, potato, green beans, lettuce, sweet potatoes, and lots of herbs. Check back with us and see how we did!

Today we planted the flowers we bought at Knollwood Garden Center.
First we weeded.
Then we got some compost and top soil and mixed it up and put it in the big flower pots in front of the house.
Then we planted away. It looks great.
They smell so good!
Funny part of our day was Ms Lori pushed down a tree.

Boy that post card from last week really has my dreams in over drive. Last night I had a dream that I was saving the beach chairs for the girls.
I even made sure they had fresh native flowers. They are beautiful….
Today we spent some time at Knollwood Garden Center. We got some things to start “Our” garden.
They had lots of pretty flowers.
We even got some seeds so we can plant them. I think we are going to work on that really soon!
