April 6, 2013 Odd Dreams last night and basketball today

So last night I had the oddest dream…..I had a dream that I was going some where warm and tropical I even remember the picture in my head crystal clear. I heard over the loud speaker fasten your seat belts and put your trays in the up right positions.

Hope that dream is a sign of more great dreams to come. Maybe even an adventure :0)
Today we worked on the todo list. Opened all the windows and had a great day just enjoying our first real spring day.
Lil Spud and I played in the yard for awhile today as well

He cracks me up. Lol
Going to watch some basketball here in a bit.
Wonder what we are going to do tomorrow?

April 3, 2013 getting a sunroom

Today Ohiophotogrl and I went over to Lexie’s to see the work on her new sunroom.
They just started working on it today. Digging a trench was the first part of the project.

I got to work the back hoe as well.

I even found a hoe. Not sure why its there but it was fun to play with.

We will check back with them in a few days and see what has changed.

Ohiophotogrl got me some really cool things for Easter.

They make coloring books and a matching card game all about me. Who knew.

Finally we have daffodils in the back yard

It snowed just a little bit today Gods April Fools day joke on us I’m sure lol.

Today I learned how to make a fruit tray. I cut up fruit and cored strawberries.

Then I helped set the table

But I’m really ready for dessert!

March 28, 2013 Trip to Fairfield Commons

We headed to the mall for a bit tonight and got some goodies for Easter baskets for the family.

Then it was a stop at the Treasures Store to try on football helmets.

They have all kinds of cool things to see and play with here. If your in the Fairfield Commons Mall you should heck this store out. Tell them Mr P sent ya :0)

March 27, 2013 I laid the flooring

Today I learned all about laying laminate. I first learned the floor should be flat.

So I laid a subfloor and smoothed it out.
Then I measured and remeasured the floor.

Then I cut it.

After that I put in kick boards and finished trimming up the room with quarter round. Not bad if I do say so myself.

Ohiophotogrl says I have I tell out that I had some help. Josh and Josh from Colortile helped me out. They did amazing work. Thanks guys for all your help and skill today.

March 25, 2013 Playing in the Snow

As luck would have it We had a snow day today! We bundled up and cleaned off the cars.

Then we went to Poppops and played in the snow with Ma and Ms P.

The snow wouldn’t roll to make a snow man so we made a snow hill LOL

Then we made snow angels

Then the real fun started when we covered ohiophotogrl with snow lol.

Was a fun filled snow day! We even played hide and seek!

We had a great day!

So today we are going to document the snow falling in Dayton Ohio on the 4th day of spring. So at 12:44 pm here is what the weather was doing…

An hour later 1:44 pm EST and not much has changed from the last hour. It’s still snowing fine flakes

Now it’s 2:44and and it looks like snow has stopped for a few hours. Maybe tonight will be better :0)

At 3:44 est there has been no change in the snow so we searched the radar.

So it looks like it will be a few hours till anything happens. Maybe we will look out again later.

March 23, 2013 Part II The Croods and the dogs

Its family day at the Rave Cinema at the Greene. Today WSU alumni association had a movie party. They showed The Croods. Fun time had by all. It was interesting to hear Nicolas Cages voice playing the father.
We had breakfast there. They served Danish, Muffins, Apple slices, water, yogurt, Capri drinks, and coffee.
Great way to start a Saturday afternoon.

The movie is in theaters now!
