Today I learned all about laying laminate. I first learned the floor should be flat.

So I laid a subfloor and smoothed it out.
Then I measured and remeasured the floor.

Then I cut it.

After that I put in kick boards and finished trimming up the room with quarter round. Not bad if I do say so myself.

Ohiophotogrl says I have I tell out that I had some help. Josh and Josh from Colortile helped me out. They did amazing work. Thanks guys for all your help and skill today.
Wonder what we are going to do tomorrow?

The puppy crawled in Agent M’s dog bowl tonight.

Was fun to watch them play. They shared very well.

March 25, 2013 Playing in the Snow

As luck would have it We had a snow day today! We bundled up and cleaned off the cars.

Then we went to Poppops and played in the snow with Ma and Ms P.

The snow wouldn’t roll to make a snow man so we made a snow hill LOL

Then we made snow angels

Then the real fun started when we covered ohiophotogrl with snow lol.

Was a fun filled snow day! We even played hide and seek!

We had a great day!

So today we are going to document the snow falling in Dayton Ohio on the 4th day of spring. So at 12:44 pm here is what the weather was doing…

An hour later 1:44 pm EST and not much has changed from the last hour. It’s still snowing fine flakes

Now it’s 2:44and and it looks like snow has stopped for a few hours. Maybe tonight will be better :0)

At 3:44 est there has been no change in the snow so we searched the radar.

So it looks like it will be a few hours till anything happens. Maybe we will look out again later.

March 23, 2013 Part II The Croods and the dogs

Its family day at the Rave Cinema at the Greene. Today WSU alumni association had a movie party. They showed The Croods. Fun time had by all. It was interesting to hear Nicolas Cages voice playing the father.
We had breakfast there. They served Danish, Muffins, Apple slices, water, yogurt, Capri drinks, and coffee.
Great way to start a Saturday afternoon.

The movie is in theaters now!

Them we came home and hung with the dogs

By the end of the afternoon I think they were plotting something.

Agent M, Ms Lori & myself were chilling out while Luna watched over us.

What a great day!

March 23, 2013 part I the Easter Bunny

Today I want to share with you a few things. You can visit the Easter bunny for free if you go to Ester Price Candies on Wayne Ave. That is where this great Bunny was found. You can bring your own camera. You also get Jelly Beans….MMMMMMMMM

There is also the Fairfield Commons Mall where you can see this guy.

You can see this guy for free but you can not take your own picture with him. He was the most fun looking Easter Bunny ohiophotogrl has seen in quiet some time. I took my girls to the mall and well what a better memory then a picture!
I’m sure there are other places doing Easter Bunny Pictures as well if you call around. Still a week before Easter. Wonder if I’ll see anymore Easter Bunnys.

March 22, 2013 I’m getting a pet

Today we had to drop of some empty pill bottles to SICSA. They use these to put medicine in for the adoptive dogs and cats. Ohiophotogrl collects them and then every month drops them off.
I went walking around while she was busy and saw this little guy

They let me play with him too

I spent the next several hours talking Ohiophotogrl into filling out the paperwork so we could bring him home so I could have my first pet.
I think we share the same soul

We filed out he paper work and here is just one of those forms.
We talked to the great people there and got to bring him home.

Now he needs a name :0)
What a great day. Thank you SICSA for helping my family grow.

I was reading the Dayton Daily News today and read all about the Dragons new scoreboard.
The Dragons are or local baseball team. I am looking forward to going to Dragons stadium to watch them play baseball.

Tonight we went to the Dayton Art Institute to see the exhibit Goodbye, The Levee has Broken, The Story of the Great Dayton Flood.

It’s amazing how 4-12 ft of water in a few short hours can destroy a whole city.
Then we saw more changes that are underway.

What a great way to spend a Wednesday evening.
