November 1st

Last night was trick or treat here I the 937. I couldn’t decide what to wear so I did costume changes.

Ok maybe more than a few but a Tator has to have options ya know! Hope you all had a safe and fun night last night. We had about 25 trick or treaters. Rain dampened the night but Ohiophotogrl has fun running around to all the neighbors to see what kind of candy they had….I’m not sure she will ever grow up. I think I’m ok with that!

Here is to a great November!

Wonder what we’re gonna do next?

Trick or Treat

Hey everyone! It’s that time of year again where we get to dress up and go door to door and collect candy! I don’t know about you but I am really excited! I need you all to do me a favor…..please be careful and follow all the safety rules. What are those?

1)make sure you have something reflective on your costume so people driving can see you. 2)always stop at the street and look both ways before crossing the street. 3)listen to whom ever is taking you out. They want you to have fun and be safe as well. 4)only go to house that have the pour here light on, or they are sitting in the driveway. 5)be sure to have someone help you look through your sack of loot when you get home. Anything open throw it away!

I’m sure there are many more rules but those are my top 5 :0) have fun and Happy Halloween!

Halloween Festivities

Today I got to hangout with Ohiophotogrl at one of her photo shoots! We had been spending some time on FB telling people to come see us at This Old Couch here in Beavercreek Ohio.

The first thing we did yesterday was decorate for Halloween. We had straw and pumpkins and spiderwebs and ghosts just to name a few things. We took pictures and then the kids got to make a craft. There was watercolor painting and ghost making!

We took pictures of little ghosts and goblins. There was Mr bacon, a gorilla, a female swat team member, there where ballarinas, a hobbit, Elsa, Spider-Man, a hot pepper, a minion, Mickey Mouse, witches, a ninja, a pig, woody,a mommy, Harry Potter and a sugar skull girl! People brought dogs too! How fun! You can see pictures of these wonderful costumes on Ohiophotogrl Facebook page.

We decided to dress as superheroes for the day…this is me

We had so much fun! Met lots of neat new people! Makes me wonder what we are going to do next?

It’s almost time!

I know you heard from me already today but I have some news!Ohiophotogrl and I went and got a pumpkin…  Then we decorated it Then we went to mail box and got the coolest card ever….We Love Mail!  It was great for M and K to think of us on Halloween! Thanks my friends!

And I decided on my Halloween Costume….

So now we wait on the nieces to go trick or treating!

Happy Halloween Friends!

Wonder what we’re gonna do next…..

Tomorrow is Halloween

So I started digging thru my suit case full of clothes and came across this.  Ohiophotogrl says I have been taken by the dark side. I can hope that’s a good thing :0)

She says she is wearing this…

She says it will work but I’m not so sure.

Tune in tomorrow and see if we change our minds :0)

Halloween 2014

Tonight is trick or treat where we live. I can’t decide what to wear….

Or there are….

All these choices. And this isn’t even all of them. Mmmmmm which one which one.
I think I’m going out as Elvis. It will keep me warm.

Let’s hope the rain holds out!
Ohiophotogrl got in the spirit as well…

Happy Halloween to each and everyone of you. We made special treats for the family today…

Vampire doughnuts and doughnut hole spiders! They were yummy!
Wonder what we’re gonna do tomorrow?

Halloween is almost here…..

This week there will be kids of all ages dressing up to frighten and delight. There will be little Ghouls and Gobblins going door to door trick or treating as well. But did you know that 40 children are diagnosed with type 1 diabetes every day. That rate is growing. So here is my suggestion. For Halloween I am giving away….

Cheetos! That’s right snack packs that kids can even put in there lunch boxes for school. Ohiophotogrl has several friends that are diabetic and have told stories about having to give most of there Halloween candy away because they can’t have it.
Ohiophotogrl and I want every kid both big and small to have a great and SAFE Halloween. Here are our tips.
1) NEVER ever go into a strangers house!
2) Be Careful crossing the street. Look both ways and hold someone’s hand…you might not need help but someone you are with might.
3) Where something reflective or carry a flashlight. Cars need to be able to see you!
4) Alway let an adult look thru your candy when you get home. Never eat anything that looks like it has been opened.
And lastly don’t let Ohiophotogrl look thru your bag she will take all your Tootsie Rolls.
Guess I should go look for my costume. Maybe Ohiophotogrl will take me out!

Oct 31,2013 Halloween

Tonight we went over to Mrs Janet’s and passed out candy.
Me and the Grim Reaper that is did most of the work of passing out candy.

Ohiophotogrl walked around with the gang next door and she found this Tator sitting on a porch down the street.

Ohiophotogrl took some pictures of Buzz Light Year, Iron Man, and a Kitty. We will get those off the camera soon to share!
Tomorrow starts a new month. Wonder what were gonna do tomorrow?
