So we started a new room today. I was in charge of taping.

New color is Cavern Clay. It’s going to be the color of the office!

Late last night ohiopotogrl and I came home to find this.

Ms Kayla struck again. She even did a portrait of me

So I thought I’d try my hand at trying to draw a floor plan of the house…

I like this drawing thing…maybe ill try it again another day!

July 11, 2013 Cox Arboretum

Spent an hour or so out at Cox Arboretum this morning.

The Butterfly house is Open!
There was only 1 butterfly to see today but there were all kinds I caterpillars! The lady that showed us around said there will be a lot of butterflies next month. We will have to make another visit.

He was a big guy!
We looked at the flowers and just had a good morning.

The butterfly was called a painted lady!
Any who, I wonder what were gonna do tomorrow?

July 10, 2013 veggies everywhere

Tonight ohiopotogrl and I stopped by the Bakewell garden.
It has really grown from when we were here last.

There are carrots, tomato, pumpkins and raspberries…

The carrot was really good

And we can’t forget the sunflowers, the lettuce or the grapes

Then we came home and found this on the sidewalk….

So there was more sanding today……a lot more. But as I took a break today this girl roamed in the back door.

So as any good potato would do I grabbed a rope and brought her all the way inside the house. Looks like she is a bit hungry so ohiopotogrl said we should keep her. I think we will call her Stevia.
Guess we have a new friend.

Spent the day getting more rooms ready to paint. We got Frog tape and Blue tape

At one point today I looked out the window and saw this…

Two cardinals visiting us today!

Today I hung out at the house with ohiopotogrl. She wasn’t feeling so hot today so we hung out on the couch and read the paper and played on the iPad.

Needed a recharge day!
